Direct Deposit

Direct Deposit/Payroll Deduction

Direct Deposit is the easy, worry-free way to have electronic deposits made automatically to your Neighbors Credit Union account. And, with payroll deduction, you can divide your direct deposit funds between several accounts, even making loan payments. These free services are the ultimate convenience.

What’s more, when you combine direct deposit with a Neighbors Credit Union checking account, you are eligible for rate discounts on a variety of products. Additionally, you are eligible to receive your direct deposit up to 2 days early (when these funds are received by the payer prior to the anticipated deposit date).* Best of all, there are no extra steps for you to take advantage of this.

*There is no guarantee of early direct deposit receipt. Early access to direct deposit funds depends solely on the timing of the payment file sent by the payer. This date is determined by the payer, not the Credit Union.

Tax Refund FAQ

How can I ensure my refund is deposited as I designate?
Check with Neighbors Credit Union to ensure we will accept a direct deposit for the type of account you are designating. Some financial institutions will accept direct deposits for some types of accounts, but not others.
Remember: Your refund should only be deposited directly into accounts that are in your own name, your spouse’s name or both if it’s a joint account. For full information, please visit the IRS website.
