A Neighbors Credit Union Certificate of Deposit is a great alternative to the unpredictable stock market. Invest as little as $1,000 and enjoy terms from 6 to 84 months. Interest earned can be posted either monthly or quarterly and you can choose whether to have the dividend check sent to your home, deposited into your checking account or compounded until the end of the certificate term.

IRA CDs are also available with terms from 12 to 84 months.

Investment Builder CDs

If you don’t have $1,000 to set aside at one time, yet want to earn a higher rate of interest than a regular Savings Account, an Investment Builder CD is a terrific account for you. By depositing a minimum $100, you can begin investing in a 12-month term and make unlimited deposits ($10 minimum).  The Investment Builder CD is a great way to begin saving for something special.
