All branches are open and operating for members. For those wishing to remain socially distanced, our Online Banking, Mobile App and ATMs are always available. Our ITMs perform most all banking transactions, with a Live Neighbors Agent, and have extended hours.

New Halls Ferry Lobby Services Temporary Closed (Tuesday, June 23, 2020)
All New Halls Ferry Lobby services will be temporarily closed from Tuesday June 23 - Monday, June 29. The New Halls Ferry Night Drop, ATM and ITM with Live Agent will remain open for transactions.
All in-person teller services will re-open on Tuesday, June 30. Account and loan services will be available by appointment when lobby services re-open. We will continue our social distance and safety guidelines to keep everyone safe as we re-open our doors.

Starting Wednesday, June 17th, our lobbies will be open to all teller services. Our account and loan services will continue to be by appointment only. We are excited to see our members in our branches and are able to help with the following in-person transactions:
Walk-in Teller Services Available: Deposits, Withdrawals, Check Cashing, Loan Payments, Cashier's Checks, Money Orders, Gift Cards, Self Service Coin Counting, Wire Transfers and Stop Payments.

Cancellation of Main Street Luncheon (Tuesday, June 9, 2020)
After much consideration and an abundance of caution, we are going to be cancelling the Main Street Luncheon on June 17, 2020 at Golden Corral (6110 South Lindbergh).

Planning in Progress for Lobby Reopening (Friday, May 15, 2020)
As St. Louis County starts lifting the Stay-at-Home order next week, Neighbors Credit Union does not yet have a set reopening date. Plans are in place to gradually reopen lobby services when we have full safety precautions in place, and we will keep you up-to-date as we establish specific dates, guidelines, and policies.

Larger-Than-Usual Debit Card Purchases? (Friday, May 1, 2020)
We don't want you to be stuck at the store when you are making larger-than-usual "stock-up” purchases on your Neighbors Credit Union VISA® Debit Card. In the effort to be prepared and stock up on essentials, you may have been declined when making larger purchases, even when you have money in your account. Here are three easy options to help avoid the rejection of 'stocking-up' debit card purchases:
- Ask the store, before making large purchases, how you can run your card as a Credit, rather than a Debit purchase.
- Download the NCU app for iPhone or Android and add your NCU cards to your Mobile Wallet and avoid most issues when completing your debit card transaction.
- Notify our Card Services Department in advance at 314-892-5400 if you are intending on making a large, one-time debit card purchase.
Merchants should be able to show you what method to use on their machine to run it as Credit. Not only will this help you make needed purchases, it also adds the extra protection that comes when signing the receipt.
After you insert your card and the terminal asks for your PIN, just hit the “Enter” button (usually green). This will run your card as credit. If you're asked to choose between “U.S. Debit” and “Visa Debit,” choose “Visa Debit.” This will run your card through Visa's credit network.
If you need help with your debit card PIN number, please call us 314-892-5400. This way you can access our ATM and ITM with Live Agent Machines when you are out stocking up. You may transfer up to the available balance in your accounts at the time of transfer. Please keep in mind that restrictions may apply at car rental merchants.

Transfer Limits Temporarily Suspended (Thursday, April 30, 2020)
Due to the ongoing COVID pandemic, on April 29, 2020, the Reg D limitation, of no more than 6 transfers from your savings and Money Market accounts, has been temporarily suspended.
New Terms for Vehicle Loans (Wednesday, April 29, 2020)

Some tips to avoid waiting in a drive-up line:
- ATM - Neighbors Credit Union ATMs accept cash and check deposits 24 hours a day. No holds on cash deposits up to $2,500 available at our ATMs located Downtown, South County, New Halls Ferry, Howdershell, Jennings, Ellisville and Manchester.
- ITM with Live Agent - Our Interactive Transaction Machines (ITM) with Live Agent are available Monday-Saturday 9:00a.m-7:00p.m., extending our service hours past typically busy times.
- Night Drop - We are posting deposits and payments every two hours Monday-Friday 9:00a.m.-5:00p.m. and Saturday 9:00a.m.-1:00p.m. (all branches except Ellisville, Manchester, and NDC)
- Mobile Deposit - Take a picture of your check to deposit it through our NCUApp for iPhone or Android, all from home!
